The need for well-educated tourism managers is not only limited to the hotel and travel agency sectors. All companies operating in the service sector (e.g. golf, tennis, wellness and recreation businesses, catering and banqueting businesses, organization companies, airline businesses, tourism financing organizations, consultancy companies, hospitals, dormitories, banks and insurance companies) look for tourism managers.

The Faculty of Tourism has been based on a strong business education, as it has been designed to prioritize managerial leadership. The main goal for our graduates is to become managerial leaders in the tourism sector. 

Working experience is of great importance in the tourism industry. For this reason, on-the-job training activities of our students have an important place in our curriculum. It is aimed to provide our students with the necessary experience through courses aiming vocational education.

It continues its educational activities as the most active and competitive faculty of the region, which provides undergraduate, graduate and doctorate education within the Faculty of Tourism. Here are the features that make our faculty different;

• The opportunity to study English preparatory class for one year,

• The opportunity to learn German and Russian languages, as well as the vocational English that is compulsory each semester, 

• The opportunity to learn the hotel automation systems which are used internationally

• The opportunity to learn travel management automation systems that are used internationally

• 60 days internship for vocational experience and 100-day on-the-job training in the 8th semester as manager training internship 

• The opportunity to go important international tourism centers such as Ireland, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy thanks to strong international cooperation and a scholarship from Erasmus student exchange program

• Stable and active university-industry cooperation with exclusive tourism firms in Turkey İstanbul
