5. Employment and Career Day in Traditional Tourism event was held in our faculty. The event started with opening speeches at 10:30. Our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sinan Serdar ÖZKAN, Sapanca District Gendarmerie Commander, Sapanca District Police Chief, our Dean Prof. Dr. Mehmet SARIIŞIK, our faculty academic staff, sector representatives and our students attended the opening speech. Our Dean Prof. Dr. Mehmet SARIIŞIK and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sinan Serdar ÖZKAN made the opening speeches. After the opening speeches, the opening of the ''Beverage Production and Presentation Laboratory'' was held. A plaque was presented to Yaya Group Business Owner Yasin TÜYSÜZ, who was the occasion and sponsor for the opening of our laboratory. After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the ''Career Development Panel'' event started in our conference hall. Our Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Serkan ŞENGÜL was the moderator of this event. JW Marriott Hotel İstanbul Marmara Sea General Manager Okan KARADAĞ, Rixos The Land of Legends Theme Park Operations Assistant Manager Yağmur TÜRKAY ÇETİNDERE, National Tourist Guide Hüseyin Özgür ÖZALTUN within the scope of İstanbul Guides Chamber and JW Marriott Hotel İstanbul Marmara Sea Executive Chef Mehmet Faruk YARDIMCI participated as speakers in the panel. Our guests shared their experiences and the current status of the sector with our students. After the questions from our students were answered, the event continued in our faculty foyer area. Many businesses from different cities participated in the career day. Our students had the opportunity to get to know the businesses and meet with their officials. Consultations were held within the scope of future collaborations. Our Dean Prof. Dr. Mehmet SARIIŞIK visited the business stands and presented certificates of appreciation to the participating businesses.
